The
Palmer Public Library has an extensive circulating collection targeting
patrons aged infant through grade 7. Children, parents and teachers will
find books, read-along book/cassette or CD packages, books on tape or CD,
magazines, music cassettes or CDs, videos, puppets, SPECIALTY KITS, and
a PARENT-TEACHER RESOURCE CENTER. All materials may be accessed through
our on-line catalog. |

Palmer Public Library offers a wide variety of youth and family orientated

IMAGINATION
STATION - This playroom is open to the public most afternoons and
evening. |
PROGRAMMING
- Toddler playgroups, preschool storyhours, summer reading programs, and
special occasion celebrations, performances and crafts are scheduled regularly
throughout the year. |

MUSEUM
PASSES LOAN INFORMATION
Discount or free passes are available to the Springfield Quadrangle Museums,
the Holyoke Children's Museum, Boston Science Museum & more. Passes
may be booked ahead of time to insure availability. PALMER
LIBRARY MUSEUM PASSES listed in Online Catalog;
this link will show the list of currently held museum passes but cannot
be used to show future availablity or to reserve a pass.

TEACHER
CARDS - Extended loan periods are available for classroom teachers,
licensed childcare providers, and curriculum approved home school parents. |
ELLISON
DIE CUT MACHINE - This multiples cutting machine may be used by
adults who work with or represent groups (ie: teachers, scout leaders, group
home counselors, etc.). Over 70 die shaped patterns are available. Patrons
must provide their own materials to cut and it is recommended that date
and time slots be booked ahead of time. Call to inquire or reserve 283-3330

BACK
PACK KITS-(Complete list of titles as of 4/09)- 105 kid-size backpacks
based on concepts, themes, and book titles. Contents may include books,
movies, music, puppets, games and/or toys. A binder listing kits and their
contents is available for preview in the youth room.
